The marketing
A website is not a
campaign. It is a position.
A build is finished the day it launches, and so is most agencies' interest in it. We are paid every month, so every month we go and find out what is actually happening and change something because of it.
Search visibility, indexed
What twelve months of
small changes looks like.
One client, from the month their site went live. No single thing on this chart moved the line. Thirty one small changes did, and every one of them was chosen because the previous month's numbers pointed at it.
- 31 changes
- No paid spend
The same four things,
every month, forever.
- 01
Measure
Every search you appeared for, every one you did not, what people tapped, and what they did next. Plus the same for the four businesses competing with you locally.
- 02
Decide
One or two things worth doing this month, chosen because the numbers say so. Not a retainer spent evenly across twelve activities so that none of them shows.
- 03
Change
We make the change. A new page, a rewritten one, a photograph, a price, an opening hour, a campaign. No change request, no waiting, no extra invoice.
- 04
Report
One page at the end of the month. What happened, what we changed, what it did, and what we are doing next. If a thing did not work we write that down too.
What that actually means in a month.
- Local search
- The searches that end in somebody walking through your door. Your town, the towns beside it, and the phrases your competitors are quietly winning.
- Your Google listing
- Hours, holidays, photographs, attributes, products and the questions people ask. It is free, it is the first thing most customers see, and almost nobody keeps it right.
- Pages that answer real questions
- Nobody searches for a garden centre. They search for what will grow in a wet north facing bed. We build the page that answers that, and it sells four plants.
- Reviews
- Asked for at the right moment, replied to properly, and kept flowing. It is the cheapest marketing in existence and the most neglected.
- Paid search, when it pays
- On the Everything plan. We run it only where the numbers justify it, and we will tell you when they do not.
- Email that people open
- Your quiet months, your regulars, your last four tables on a Tuesday. Written by us, sent from you.
The monthly page
One page. No dashboard
you will never log into.
Every agency offers a dashboard. Almost nobody looks at one twice. You get a single page, in plain English, that says who found you, how, what we changed, what it did, and what is next. It takes two minutes to read and you can hand it to your accountant.
If something we tried did not work, that is on the page as well. That is the part that makes the rest of it worth reading.
You are probably missing four things.
Send us your web address. We will tell you what people near you are searching for, which of those you show up for, and which of your competitors is taking the rest. Free, and yours whether you hire us or not.
